SCOPE OF WORK:-

Stage -1:-  Preliminary Design Stage:-

a) Take employer’s instructions regarding the requirement

b)  Visit and inspect the site periodically

c)  Preliminary design report and sketches identifying estimated electrical loads, basic design concept and budgetary cost estimates together with cost effectiveness of different systems using different energy sources.

Stage -2:-  Design Drawing Stage:-

a)  On approval of the preliminary design, preparation of design drawing showing High tension, Low tension system, control room and distribution etc.

b)  Upon coordinated and approval by architect and client, preparation of cabling and wiring for electrical systems and drawings.

c)  Schematic diagrams for power distribution and low voltage system, lighting arrestors etc.

d)  Preparation of coordinated working drawings of all electrical systems mentioned above.

Stage -3:-  Tender Stage:-

a)  Upon coordination and approval of all design drawings by employer, and architect, preparation of tender documents including special conditions of contract, specifications and detailed scheme of quantities on the basis of our design drawings.

b) Detailed cost estimates on the basis of unit rates in recently inviting similar tenders.

Stage -4:-  Contract Award Stage:-

a)  Upon approval by employer, inviting tenders from the prospective contractors recommended in each system.

b) Comprehensive comparative statement of technical bids received.

c) Preparation of contract agreement and contract document with each selected contractor.

Stage -5:- Construction Stage:-

a) Verification of contractor’s shop drawings and recommending for execution.

b) Frequent site visits as and when required to ensure that installation work is as per design and contract agreement.

c) Assistance in testing and commissioning of each system, and obtaining test report from the contractors.

d) Prepare a rectification list for each contractor’s work and ensure that rectification are carried out and completed to our entire satisfaction.

e) Assistance in obtaining from each contractor as-installed drawings, list of recommended spares, operation and maintenance manuals for the systems installed by them.

Stage -6:- Approval of Systems:-

a) Coordinate to arrange all the approvals of the systems from Electrical Inspectorate and J.V.V.N.L., for the project.
